In the 17th minute, Alfons Behnert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bentgerhof FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 19 minutes, Klemens Reckle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bentgerhof FSV and the Huskvarna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Bentgerhof FSV's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Jansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Huskvarna's zone, Alfonso Görlitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Beckström came out of the goal and Alfonso Görlitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximilian Ljungberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rollo Trieb. That made the score 1-3 in the 47 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alfonso Görlitz made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alfonso Görlitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Ljungberg in the 55th minute of play forced Bentgerhof FSV's goalkeeper Rollo Trieb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximilian Ljungberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rollo Trieb read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Gilbert Gallin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rollo Trieb skillfully saved the ball. Bentgerhof FSV's Rollo Trieb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Hägert in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Cem Carlebach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Marcel Hoffman from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Peter Beckström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jan Jansson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rollo Trieb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximilian Ljungberg went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. A collision led to Bentgerhof FSV getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Klemens Reckle hit a great ball.
