None of the them looked very eager to play. 韩光强 started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, 博尔顿足球俱乐部's 彭伟渊 got control of the ball when 宋威益 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 蔡凌笑 kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 彭伟渊 came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by AJ Auxerre's 苏威铮. But to his dismay, 苏威铮 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 彭伟渊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 宋威益, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 博尔顿足球俱乐部's 韩光强 in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AJ Auxerre's goalie prevented a goal. If 倪川风 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, 韩光强 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, AJ Auxerre's 蒋桦桦 got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, 博尔顿足球俱乐部 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾鸿亮 to maneuver through the defense. 于诚庭 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 吴珂挺, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes of play, AJ Auxerre's 宋威益 made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 彭伟渊 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 27 minutes, 韩光强 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 博尔顿足球俱乐部 and the AJ Auxerre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes 博尔顿足球俱乐部 got a freekick which was hit by 韩光强. In a very dangerous position, a player in AJ Auxerre fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! When AJ Auxerre's 苏威铮 in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 博尔顿足球俱乐部's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, 宋威益 managed to get in a good position for a shot. AJ Auxerre's supporters rose to their feet, but 宋威益 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 彭伟渊 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If 苏威铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 庄克鹰 came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the 博尔顿足球俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 庄克鹰 couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 苏威铮 made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, 龙城亮 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. 彭伟渊 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 于诚庭 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 庄克鹰, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 苏威铮 struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. 彭伟渊 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AJ Auxerre. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 曾鸿亮 during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 曾鸿亮 hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The throw-in from 蔡凌笑 in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AJ Auxerre's 毛岚斌. 曲荣潮 kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to AJ Auxerre getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. 宋威益 hit a great ball. 于诚庭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾鸿亮 in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, AJ Auxerre's 于诚庭 got control of the ball when 曲荣潮 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 曲荣潮 hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 韩光强 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 于诚庭 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 曲荣潮 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 龙城亮 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 龙城亮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 彭伟渊 having to interfere. 苏威铮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 彭伟渊 having to interfere. AJ Auxerre's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
