In the 3rd minute, Billy Sundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ayhan Ergün was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyrani Özsahin in the 7th minute of play forced Hübbersfield SV's goalkeeper Rasmus Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Hübbersfield SV's Billy Sundberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayhan Ergün was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rasmus Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhittin Mesut in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Aşır Hayal managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Aşır Hayal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rasmus Lund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the game, Billy Sundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ayhan Ergün was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Sven-Oskar Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY defense, Douglas Bäckström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ayhan Ergün. The GALATASARAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ayhan Ergün should have stopped the shot. Douglas Bäckström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ayhan Ergün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY's Ayhan Ergün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Törnblom in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Georg Gadd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ayhan Ergün. GALATASARAY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Gadd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Bäckström in the 40th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Ayhan Ergün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayhan Ergün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Bäckström in the 41st minute of play. Ayhan Ergün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Gadd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hübbersfield SV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Billy Sundberg in the 46th minute. Hübbersfield SV's Georg Gadd was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ayhan Ergün in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Bäckström made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Douglas Bäckström managed to get in a good position for a shot. A wasted opportunity for Hübbersfield SV. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY defense, Georg Gadd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ayhan Ergün. The GALATASARAY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ayhan Ergün should have stopped the shot. Georg Gadd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taner Oker in the 65th minute of play forced Hübbersfield SV's goalkeeper Rasmus Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Georg Gadd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ayhan Ergün made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Georg Gadd sent off a good shot on target. Peter Törnblom's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Törnblom helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Törnblom kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Hübbersfield SV's Rasmus Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Hayal in the 74th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Erik Stålman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rasmus Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhittin Mesut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yağızalp Isfahanlı went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Batı Ferhat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hübbersfield SV's Rasmus Lund did a great save. In the 89th match minute, Hübbersfield SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Törnblom to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aşır Hayal in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rasmus Lund saved Hübbersfield SV from getting behind. Rasmus Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Hayal in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Georg Gadd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ayhan Ergün was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Hübbersfield SV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
