Bengt Enström's late challenge caught a AS Monaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Enström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AS Monaco booed when Huskvarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Enström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Ljungberg hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Carl Hägert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 蒋勇骋 having to interfere. Peter Beckström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 龙超康's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 刘霖珂 was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Huskvarna defense, 刘霖珂 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Beckström. The Huskvarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Beckström should have stopped the shot.
