Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erbatur Kutan got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Erbatur Kutan came free, but Ayhan Ergün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erol Can fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayhan Ergün having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Karpuzlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lokman Dursunali to maneuver through the defense. Ayhan Ergün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lokman Dursunali in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhittin Mesut got free with Baturay Özluer in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 59 minutes, Aşır Hayal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aşır Hayal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erol Can in the 67th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Ayhan Ergün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Taner Oker fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Taner Oker a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Karpuzlu booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taner Oker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Erbatur Kutan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aşır Hayal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baturay Özluer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Erbatur Kutan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ayhan Ergün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karpuzlu's Erol Can got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The GALATASARAY players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Karpuzlu from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
