The throw-in from 蒋森广 in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AS Monaco's 曾军杰. In the 4th minute, 刘霖珂 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Monaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in AJ Auxerre's zone, 龙超康 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 于诚庭 came out of the goal and 龙超康 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When 郭帆荣 fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Monaco's protests and gave 郭帆荣 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, AS Monaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 郭帆荣 to maneuver through the defense. 于诚庭 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 郭帆荣 in the 32nd minute of the match. After 37 played minutes AS Monaco got a freekick which was hit by 郭帆荣. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, 苏威铮 took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for 蒋勇骋 to make any attempt to save it. If 刘霖珂 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 石彬光 kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 于诚庭 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 龙超康, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When AJ Auxerre's 苏威铮 in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
