Rasmus Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hübbersfield SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 龙城亮 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 苏威铮 to make the kick off. Rasmus Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 苏威铮 in the 54th minute of the match. The corner ended in 龙城亮 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hübbersfield SV's Rasmus Lund did a great save. The supporters of AJ Auxerre booed when Hübbersfield SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. AJ Auxerre played a much better game than Hübbersfield SV and deserved their victory. The Hübbersfield SV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
