Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Fertus in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rollo Trieb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rollo Trieb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Burger's late challenge caught a club atlético boca junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Fertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bentgerhof FSV's Cem Carlebach got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Alfonso Görlitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Quinito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Fertus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rollo Trieb was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Teofilo Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rollo Trieb having to interfere. With a little luck, club atlético boca junior's Geronimo Quinito got control of the ball when Arnim Blank tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Orlondon in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rollo Trieb saved Bentgerhof FSV from getting behind. A collision led to Bentgerhof FSV getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alfons Behnert hit a great ball. With a little luck, club atlético boca junior's Geronimo Quinito got control of the ball when Arnim Blank tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alfonso Görlitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Paul hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Gerardo Fertus took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rollo Trieb. Rollo Trieb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gerardo Fertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rollo Trieb having to interfere. Rollo Trieb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Geronimo Quinito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Görlitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rollo Trieb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Fertus in the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Arnim Blank had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Quinito. club atlético boca junior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnim Blank was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Bentgerhof FSV players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
