Fragleses's Kim Hänninen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wawrzyniec Trac in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pawel Wolnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kim Hänninen was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Stanislav Saktor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halim Tetiker in the 9th minute. Fragleses were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Powiśle Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roch Dejo took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Tetiker in the 16th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Stanislav Saktor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Maziarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Hänninen having to interfere. The supporters of Fragleses booed when Powiśle Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Lato didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Maziarski in the 25th minute of play forced Fragleses's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Powiśle Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jakub Ferfecki in the 27th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Gösta Ekgren to score against Kim Hänninen in Fragleses's goal. 0-1 after 27 minutes. In the 33rd minute Halim Tetiker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Saktor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Fragleses's Stanislav Saktor threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wiktor Gomolka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Fragleses's Roch Dejo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pawel Wolnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Rasiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fragleses from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Fragleses's Kim Hänninen got control of the ball when Pawel Wolnik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kim Hänninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Maziarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislav Saktor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wiktor Gomolka went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Powiśle Warszawa made a substitution. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Fragleses from getting a goal against them.
