Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 52nd minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gustaw Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Caniglia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 70th minute of play. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciccio Kowalczyk in the 73rd minute. Ciccio Kowalczyk made a great header on Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's corner, it was just that Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel managed to reach the ball for a save. Peter-Michael Schmeichel came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Tristan Lannister. But to his dismay, Tristan Lannister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy made a substitution. Wawrzyniec Domamir replaced Jerry Cala. After 78 played minutes Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy got a freekick which was hit by Felix Blas. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
