In the 24thth minute of the game Cecilio Fanuco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fragleses's Kim Hänninen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Juliszew SSA got a corner. Fragleses's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lukasz Iwanowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Juliszew SSA's Philip Lovecraft getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Rasiak in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Fragleses's Halim Tetiker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Philip Lovecraft could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Kim Hänninen made a huge save. In the 36th minute Grzegorz Rasiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Lucjan Szkarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Hänninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Hänninen made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Lucjan Szkarpiak sent off a good shot on target. Zhuo Xuan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Gomolka in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Oto Mur might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kim Hänninen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oto Mur ran back to his position shaking his head.
