With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Joks in the 28th managed to get into a good position. Zenon Debkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Walery Glapiak came free, but Artur Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Vito Tasso's late challenge caught a KS Olimpia Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vito Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. Gigel Botescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges-Philippe Coussement in the 59th minute of play. Artur Brack was a little too slow when Damazy Joks got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 3-1. Gigel Botescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Maziarski in the 66th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Artur Brack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes in the game Edmund Zahemski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Georges-Philippe Coussement. 81 minutes into the game, Vito Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gigel Botescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vito Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Vito Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Botescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Izydor Kaider's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigel Botescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Piotr Kawa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jan Zbydniewski made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Walery Glapiak. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Georges-Philippe Coussement managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Milenium's supporters rose to their feet, but Georges-Philippe Coussement was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Botescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KS Olimpia Warszawa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
