A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fausto Queirós hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Queirós came free, but Samuca Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Queirós in the 30th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Samuca Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Bezerra came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Leandro Soares. But to his dismay, Leandro Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Barcellos Mineiro FC were furious when Carlinhos Bertassi was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Faria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 76th minute Luís Eduardo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
