Frenchville Sports Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Berke Rush was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolay Bonkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvaldo Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Best in the 38th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Jasper Attwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berke Rush was the one to do the kick off. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
