C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Paulo Zonta who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Thomas Vollmar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon did a great save. 35 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Intxixu Porregimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Mexilhão F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Zé Paulo Zonta in the 82nd minute really tested Intxixu Porregimon's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them. Adam Pacholewski struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Intxixu Porregimon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 88th minute of play.
