Vende Humo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Bela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Primo got free with Agustin Rossi in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvio Primo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jiang Hong made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Claudio Caniggia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Rossi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Agustin Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Primo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Jiang Hong could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Marta Pressley however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Primo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st match minute, Vende Humo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Caniggia in the 62nd minute of the match. Vende Humo's Agustin Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Leto in the 68th minute of play. Benito Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Vende Humo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
