Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Fetea, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Jasper Attwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Moșanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Tommy Hanley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. BlueLionesse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garlic Eaters the free kick. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Pârcălab didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Rareș Vuşcan hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's Pavol Stano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
