In the 17th minute Tommy Hanley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Intxixu Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Intxixu Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Hanley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garlic Eaters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pavol Stano in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Garlic Eaters's corner Pavol Stano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Intxixu Porregimon quite easily take care of the ball. In the 24th minute, Jasper Attwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 minutes, Serafino Herena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexilhão F. C. and the Garlic Eaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Serafino Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justin Collingwood in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Intxixu Porregimon saved Mexilhão F. C. from getting behind. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 32nd minute of play. Nikolay Bonkov made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ronaldinho Romero sent off a good shot on target. When Garlic Eaters's Justin Collingwood in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexilhão F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Attwood in the 47th minute of play. The Mexilhão F. C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garlic Eaters were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Justin Collingwood made the kick off in the second half. Intxixu Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Attwood in the 51st minute of the match. Intxixu Porregimon made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jasper Attwood sent off a good shot on target. Anaia Barba kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Hanley in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Anaia Barba hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jasper Attwood came free, but Intxixu Porregimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justin Collingwood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Intxixu Porregimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Intxixu Porregimon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Attwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jasper Attwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Intxixu Porregimon made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Justin Collingwood sent off a good shot on target. After 69 minutes Mexilhão F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pavol Stano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Garlic Eaters's corner Pavol Stano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Intxixu Porregimon quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Germano Pernambucano hit a great ball. Intxixu Porregimon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justin Collingwood in the 73rd minute. Intxixu Porregimon was a little too slow when Tommy Hanley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Attwood in the 85th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Justin Collingwood could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Intxixu Porregimon however easily saved by the left post. When Justin Collingwood came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Garlic Eaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justin Collingwood couldn't finish the play. Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexilhão F. C. from getting a goal against them.
