But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estevez Palmeira couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Estevez Palmeira came free, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Estevez Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ITAFUT 4EVER's Afonso Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Robinho Magalhães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

ITAFUT 4EVER's Betão Moura was substituted for Robinho Magalhães. The wind increased when Serafim Simão made the kick off in the second half. Sandy Ogrocki's late challenge caught a ITAFUT 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandy Ogrocki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Sandy Ogrocki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Paulo Munhoz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Afonso Maciels short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Antônio Carlos Cavalcante to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 90 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Diniz. 94 minutes into the game, Léo Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. Léo Velasco hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Edgar Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ITAFUT 4EVER walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
