After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Witold Zakrzewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Domenech came out of the goal and Witold Zakrzewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Wypyszek's Czeslaw Winograd suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Lucien Decottignies was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herblay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wypyszek the free kick. FC Wypyszek's Ludomil Majdoch was substituted for Czeslaw Winograd. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Lucien Decottignies got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Zakrzewski came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Herblay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
