But to his dismay, Florentino Izotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by La Maquina 9-12-18's Baldomero Frasco. But to his dismay, Baldomero Frasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Hortêncio Viana had several of the La Maquina 9-12-18's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Claudio Dantel as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Frasco in the 45th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Izotz in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Iban to make the kick off. Valério Cordeiro hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Claudio Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Valladares in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, La Maquina 9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Weterio to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Timoteo Tomi notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudio Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Timoteo Tomis short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Rogério Ceni to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Arruda in the 96th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Claudio Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Maquina 9-12-18 played a much better game than Divina Comédia FC and deserved their victory. The Divina Comédia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
