After having played for 38 minutes, Victorino Iban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Maquina 9-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Iban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Tomi in the 43rd minute of play. Carlos Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Frasco in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Timoteo Tomi took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Carlos Marinho to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Iban in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Marinho saved 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting behind. After 67 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Vides. Alejo Jobo was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Marquez in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Dantel saved La Maquina 9-12-18 from getting behind. Victorino Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Marquez in the 89th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Claudio Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Basílio Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 卡納里尼奧 FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though La Maquina 9-12-18 had controlled the match.
