The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Laerte Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 minutes, Afonso Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 卡納里尼奧 FC and the Consejo del Mate players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 minutes, Laerte Marquez made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute of the match, Laerte Marquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bernardo Inautzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Bernardo Inautzi managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when 卡納里尼奧 FC's Laerte Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Laerte Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Inautzi was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Laerte Marquez made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Marinho having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Hugo Ceandro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho. Carlos Marinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agostinho Guedes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Bernardo Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 卡納里尼奧 FC. In the 68thth minute of the game Laerte Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Bernardo Inautzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Marquez in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Inautzi saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. Hugo Ceandro's late challenge caught a 卡納里尼奧 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ceandro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. When Amílton Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 卡納里尼奧 FC's protests and gave Amílton Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Amílton Marinho hit a great ball. Agostinho Guedes scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Inautzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor da Costa during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vítor da Costa hit a great ball. Many of Consejo del Mate's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Consejo del Mate may have spent more time on the ball, but 卡納里尼奧 FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
