A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Arnaldo Librado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Verga in the 10th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Bernardo Inautzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Leandro Verga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardo Inautzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when RockCity F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Espinoza Ubach didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, RockCity F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Olar to maneuver through the defense. After 23 played minutes RockCity F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Coronel Zulueta. 24 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goalkeeper Inocencio Olaechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Abreu. Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Verga, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Emiliano Abreu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inocencio Olaechea came out and tried to block the shot, but Emiliano Abreu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. Bernardo Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Roales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Ceandro's late challenge caught a RockCity F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Ceandro helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 minutes, Gilberto Unai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Consejo del Mate and the RockCity F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. RockCity F.C. were furious when Agustín Dalaje was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gilberto Unai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Olaechea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. After the first half RockCity F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bustos Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Serafin Bautista's late challenge caught a RockCity F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Bautista helped the player get up and apologised. Bustos Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Inautzi having to interfere. Enrique Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. RockCity F.C.'s Mateo Carmenes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Roque Olar fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RockCity F.C.'s protests and gave Roque Olar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when RockCity F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Olar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Roales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bustos Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Inautzi having to interfere. A collision led to RockCity F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Martin Roales hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Abreu came free, but Inocencio Olaechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Betadur hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Inocencio Olaechea came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Consejo del Mate's Emiliano Abreu. But to his dismay, Emiliano Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bernardo Inautzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Roales's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on RockCity F.C.'s corner Mateo Carmenes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardo Inautzi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 89th minute, RockCity F.C.'s Martin Roales ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Inautzi. Bernardo Inautzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RockCity F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
