The audience was convinced that 潘珂剑's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Inautzi was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Bernardo Inautzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚扬天 in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 潘珂剑 in the 23rd minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Bernardo Inautzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Consejo del Mate defense, 龚扬天 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Inautzi. The Consejo del Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Inautzi should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Bernardo Inautzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 辽宁朝阳红魔联队's 潘珂剑 got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Inautzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 龚扬天 went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 潘珂剑 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Abreu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Bernardo Inautzi came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by 辽宁朝阳红魔联队's 龚扬天. But to his dismay, 龚扬天 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 62nd match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Betadur to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, 龚扬天 put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardo Inautzi. When 龚扬天 came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the 辽宁朝阳红魔联队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 龚扬天 couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, 潘珂剑 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 辽宁朝阳红魔联队's supporters rose to their feet, but 潘珂剑 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Inautzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Resto to maneuver through the defense. If 潘珂剑 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
