Victorino Iban charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Iban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, La Maquina 9-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Iban to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ramzy Ropert fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Herblay's protests and gave Ramzy Ropert a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dove Roig stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venancio Etor hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Claudio Dantel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Victorino Iban hit a great ball. After 62 minutes La Maquina 9-12-18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mustapha Guilbert who took care of the corner kick. 63 minutes into the game, Baldomero Frasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Maquina 9-12-18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herblay the free kick. The supporters of Herblay booed when La Maquina 9-12-18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Maquina 9-12-18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Gauche came free, but Claudio Dantel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to La Maquina 9-12-18 getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Venancio Etor hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Gildas Montaut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Dantel. The goal made the score 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Tomi in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Domenech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramzy Ropert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herblay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
