Bernardo Inautzi made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Edgardo Lleir sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Hugo Ceandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Consejo del Mate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falckner FC the free kick. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Lleir, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dionisio Emesto ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Lleir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Inautzi was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Desiderio Corderun's late challenge caught a Consejo del Mate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Serafin Bautista got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Lleir came free, but Bernardo Inautzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Wilfredo Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Falckner FC had won after a very even match.
