Eurico Paes's late challenge caught a Herblay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Domenech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laerte Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Mathieu Bouziane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herblay and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herblay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Laerte Marquez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norbert Domenech. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Norbert Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dove Roig hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Agostinho Guedes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Domenech. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Domenech should have stopped the shot. Norbert Domenech acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eurico Paes. 卡納里尼奧 FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Herblay's much stronger midfield.
