The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of RockCity F.C. booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Bouziane didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to RockCity F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Martin Roales hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, RockCity F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Gauche came free, but Inocencio Olaechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Verga got free with Norbert Domenech in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Olaechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dove Roig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RockCity F.C.'s Zenaido Forcat got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Martin Roales notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Herblay's Norbert Domenech. Norbert Domenech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zenaido Forcat hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Leandro Verga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Domenech. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Domenech should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, RockCity F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Olar to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Jean-Charles Gauche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Olaechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Jean-Charles Gauche in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Pacôme Cugnet kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Inocencio Olaechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dove Roig, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Martin Roales took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Norbert Domenech to make any attempt to save it. Leandro Verga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Norbert Domenech made a huge save. Jonathan Samuel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Dalaje got free with Norbert Domenech in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Dove Roig made the kick off in the second half. Norbert Domenech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bustos Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute RockCity F.C. were awarded a corner. Mateo Carmenes went to the cornerflag to take it. Inocencio Olaechea made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jean-Charles Gauche sent off a good shot on target. Norbert Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bustos Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Mateo Carmenes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Herblay's Norbert Domenech did a great save. When Agustín Dalaje came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the RockCity F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Dalaje couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Dalaje came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Verga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Agustín Dalaje managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RockCity F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Dalaje was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agustín Dalaje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RockCity F.C.'s Inocencio Olaechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Charles Gauche in the 83rd minute of play. Norbert Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Verga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
