The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Friberger got free with Amancio Paez in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st match minute, Full Fart Framåt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Näver to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Paez made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Harry Billvall sent off a good shot on target. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Emesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Clementsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Full Fart Framåt's Staffan Salkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Amancio Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Billvall in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Dionisio Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Clementsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt-Rune Friberger was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Stellan Clementsson managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Falckner FC's Dionisio Emesto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amancio Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Billvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Desiderio Corderun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stellan Clementsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Stellan Clementsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. 70 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Billvall came free, but Amancio Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Lleir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Clementsson having to make a save. Stellan Clementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Gil in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Bengt-Rune Friberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Emesto got free with Stellan Clementsson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Falckner FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Falckner FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
