But to his dismay, Emiliano Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Cordario to make the kick off. Eurico Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Gilberto Unai sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho didn't even have to move. Bernardo Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Ceandro in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Teofilo Benet got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Régis Vides came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the 卡納里尼奧 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Vides couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute 卡納里尼奧 FC were awarded a corner. Régis Vides went to the cornerflag to take it. 卡納里尼奧 FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Consejo del Mate's much stronger midfield.
