PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dove Roig in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Charles Gauche in the 20th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Leonides Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucien Decottignies in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Matteo saved PLUMIN from getting behind. Leonides Matteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dove Roig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Herblay were awarded a corner. Lucien Decottignies went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Jean-Charles Gauche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Matteo. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Matteo should have stopped the shot. If Froilan Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gildas Montaut got free with Leonides Matteo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Matteo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Dove Roig sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Jean-Charles Gauche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Osmundo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Herblay booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Gauche came free, but Leonides Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Herblay's Dove Roig made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Matteo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dove Roig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Matteo having to interfere. The supporters of PLUMIN booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pacôme Cugnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Jorge Cristofol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norbert Domenech. Herblay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Cristofol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When Froilan Urtungo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After 95 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Urtungo. PLUMIN's Leonides Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Charles Gauche in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
