The Falckner FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Paez should have stopped the shot. In the 16th match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Bazil to maneuver through the defense. Las Palmas's Nicolas Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Lleir in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Las Palmas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nicanor Fanuco hit a great ball. Nicolas Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Corderun. In the 42nd match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Baldomero Bernard got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Fanuco to strike the kick off in the second half. Horacio Sein hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Amancio Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Sein in the 58th minute of play. Edgardo Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Urko having to interfere. Las Palmas's Nicolas Urko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Las Palmas from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Las Palmas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Clodoveo Arixo hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Edgardo Lleir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Urko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Placido Lorien hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Sein in the 80th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Amancio Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Edgardo Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Lleir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Clodoveo Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Lleir got free with Nicolas Urko in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goalkeeper Nicolas Urko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Lleir. Falckner FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
