Niclas Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Tróia came free, but Niclas Svanberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Dalström to maneuver through the defense. Márcio de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Aparecido hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christer Bergström came free, but Sílvio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Daniel Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niclas Svanberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuca Tróia's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Niclas Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuca Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Samuca Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Niclas Svanberg made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Dahlkvist to make the kick off. Niclas Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Batista in the 95th minute of the match.
