A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jan-Åke Termander hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Moura in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niclas Svanberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niclas Svanberg came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Jataiense Futebol Clube's José Paulo Romero. But to his dismay, José Paulo Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sílvio Luiz Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Tommy Dahlkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Délio Azevedo, 1-2. In the 35th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Wellington Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niclas Svanberg was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Délio Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Jataiense Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Boström was the one to do the kick off. Niclas Svanberg made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Wellington Moura sent off a good shot on target. Niclas Svanberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wellington Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Alvarenga in the 72nd minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Niclas Svanberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Dráuzio Freire got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Tommy Dahlkvist notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Jataiense Futebol Clube's Délio Azevedo. Délio Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emil Boström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Azevedo having to interfere. Niclas Svanberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Favoretto in the 97th minute. When the match was over Jataiense Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA VIOLA throughout the match.
