Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Sein, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Franklin Maia hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekzema F.V. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 26 minutes of play, Las Palmas's Nicanor Fanuco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Urko made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Samuca Tróia sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Arixo came free, but Sílvio Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Las Palmas's Nicolas Urko got control of the ball when Samuca Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Eduardo Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Palmas's protests and gave Eduardo Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Urko acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabinho Sarmento. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuca Tróia to make the kick off. Ekzema F.V.'s Fabinho Sarmento suffered a concussion after 54 minutes and had to leave the field. Nicanor Fanuco charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Fanuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ekzema F.V. made a substitution. Oswaldo Coutinho replaced Fabinho Sarmento. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro. 84 minutes into the match, Samuca Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Urko. Las Palmas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuca Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Daniel Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Sein could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sílvio Cordeiro made a huge save. Las Palmas's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ekzema F.V. had won, even though Las Palmas had held more of the ball.
