The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Miroslaw Zagrobelny got a free kick in the 4th minute. Wawrzyniec Poling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Pinho in the 5th minute. Janusz Zajac's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janusz Zajac helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Zajac. Ronaldo Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Poling made a huge save. Wawrzyniec Poling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Dionísio in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Telmo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Ronaldo Pinho got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th match minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Markowski to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Zagrobelny. When Sebastião Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Paulista couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Pinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wawrzyniec Poling. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. With a little luck, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Wawrzyniec Poling got control of the ball when Ronaldo Pinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wawrzyniec Poling didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Ronaldo Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Poling was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Castanheiro SC's Dagoberto de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. If Jailson Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wawrzyniec Poling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Zé Pedro Dionísio hit a great ball. Dagoberto de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lech Wolicki in the 61st minute. Ronaldo Pinho scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wawrzyniec Poling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Zé Pedro Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Poling having to interfere. After 69 played minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Kinic. After 70 played minutes, Castanheiro SC's Sebastião Paulista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Poling came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. In the 73rd minute Telmo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 79th play minutes Ronaldo Pinho shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Wawrzyniec Poling and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 81st minute, Luiz Fabiano Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ronaldo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lech Wolicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Dionísio came free, but Wawrzyniec Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wawrzyniec Poling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Castanheiro SC had won after a very even match.
