Hermínio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Armandinho Santos got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Halfdan Wøldike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Thalbitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Maciel in the 31st minute of play. Arnaldo Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olfert Lodian in the 34th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Samuca Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helmuth Mannsmeier to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Luís Eduardo Arce slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aleksander Thalbitzer. That made the score 1-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 42nd match minute, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho do Valle to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Rondinone F.C - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiaguinho Faria was the one to do the kick off. If Luís Eduardo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Pedrinho do Valle got a free kick in the 58th minute. Aleksander Thalbitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Samuca Bezerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Rondinone F.C - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. When Helmuth Mannsmeier fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holmkjar Hotspurs's protests and gave Helmuth Mannsmeier a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksander Thalbitzer. Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Mannsmeier came free, but Samuca Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Olfert Lodian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuca Bezerra. That made the score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play. Hermínio Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Eduardo Arce took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksander Thalbitzer. Aleksander Thalbitzer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 93rd minute, Tiaguinho Faria left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondinone F.C - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
