When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nicanor Fanuco put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leonides Matteo. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Serafino Rio hit a great ball. Leonides Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by PLUMIN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fulgencio Tiadoro was slow to take the kick. During this time Las Palmas's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fulgencio Tiadoro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Matteo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonides Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Arixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Adrian Dominix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Palmas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PLUMIN the free kick. After 30 played minutes Las Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dominix. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Las Palmas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PLUMIN:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Cristofol to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Matteo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 77th match minute, Las Palmas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Ihintza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Urtungo in the 78th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper Nicolas Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Leonides Matteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 87 in the game by Horacio Sein from a close distance when the talented Leonides Matteo managed to make a qualified save. PLUMIN's players were relieved. Leonides Matteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Fanuco in the 92nd minute of play. If Horacio Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the game, Serafino Rio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PLUMIN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Palmas the free kick. After 99 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Rio. Despite being the better team, Las Palmas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
