The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maicon Linhares's late challenge caught a BESTIA GDAŃSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maicon Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. Maicon Linhares hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Bogdan Sroka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Maicon Linhares hit a great ball. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Lucjan Markowski got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro got control of the ball when Tobiasz Majewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ekzema F.V.'s Sílvio Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Markowski in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Cyryl Patrylo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro. Cyryl Patrylo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucjan Markowski 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Markowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobiasz Majewski. Sílvio Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Lucjan Markowski sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute Samuca Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Wawrzyniec Poling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Samuca Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Tróia took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wawrzyniec Poling. Wawrzyniec Poling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 42nd minute Cyryl Patrylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Patrylo in the 48th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Sílvio Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuca Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyryl Patrylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Claudinei Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Poling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ekzema F.V.'s Márcio de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wawrzyniec Poling. That made the score 2-2 after 87 minutes of play. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Fabinho Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Samuca Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Arantes. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the BESTIA GDAŃSK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
