After 2 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Osmar Freitas. Rogério Ceni was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Edgardo Lleir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Lleir really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dionisio Emesto came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogério Ceni could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Sanches in the 11th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Amancio Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jimeno Celio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Dionisio Emesto could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Rogério Ceni however easily saved by the left post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Godofredo Fix put in a rough tackle. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Falckner FC! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Divina Comédia FC. Váldson Lopes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Amancio Paez. 1-1. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Genaro Frechoso hit a great ball. Váldson Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Divina Comédia FC's Osmar Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Paez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Valladares came free, but Amancio Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Victorio Claus hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Falckner FC's Wilfredo Gil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 80th minute, Edgardo Lleir made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Ceni. Divina Comédia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 83rd minute, Baldomero Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Divina Comédia FC's Osmar Freitas got a free kick in the 84th minute. Falckner FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Divina Comédia FC for a fine match.
