Sebastião Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But to his dismay, Telmo da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. When Ronaldo Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Pinho couldn't finish the play. Telmo da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carlos Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. After 93 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Dionísio. In the 94th minute of the match Eurico Paes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto de Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Dionísio in the 95th minute of the match.
