The audience was convinced that Sima Marinković's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Jansson was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Kopparmora BK's goal looked a bit too open when Macnelly Torres came free, but Viktor Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kopparmora BK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jaime Illan hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Sima Marinković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes Vancouver Reds's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was I-Made 吕益益 who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Vancouver Reds defense, James Chin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Duardo. The Vancouver Reds fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Duardo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by I-Made 吕益益 in the 32nd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jaime Illan fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kopparmora BK's protests and gave Jaime Illan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kopparmora BK's Jaime Illan got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Olov Sundberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47thth minute of the game Olov Sundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Vancouver Reds players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kopparmora BK were winning 0-1.

Omar Duardo was a little too slow when I-Made 吕益益 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macnelly Torres in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Jansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Macnelly Torres sped through Kopparmora BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viktor Jansson. Vancouver Reds's Amédée Gillis was substituted for Pang Jun. Kopparmora BK's Viktor Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macnelly Torres in the 62nd minute of play. Kopparmora BK's Viktor Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macnelly Torres in the 76th minute of play. I-Made 吕益益's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Duardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Nicolás Castillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vancouver Reds's Maxwell Eddy was substituted for Guo Ke Peng. Viktor Jansson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres. But to his dismay, Macnelly Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When Vancouver Reds's Nicolás Castillo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kopparmora BK's goalie prevented a goal. If Nicolás Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Vancouver Reds were the better team. Vancouver Reds's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
