The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Elvio Abalos got a free kick in the 11th minute. Aureliano Herena came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Adriano Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Adriano Ribeiro scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Herena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Evis. Rigoberto Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Rigoberto Serafo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Aureliano Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Emílio Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Zheng Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Vialli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Adriano Ribeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureliano Herena. The goal made the score 3-0. Aureliano Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 44th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 53rd minute Adriano Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 55th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Anders Westerstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Obscurials's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Westerstrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Herena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Obscurials's Angelo Eiró was substituted for Cliff Rowden. In the 71st minute, Lawrance Grandison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Herena was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Lawrance Grandison put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aureliano Herena. The audience was convinced that Lawrance Grandison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Herena was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Falckner FC's Aureliano Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrance Grandison in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Ivan Reynardo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Aureliano Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lawrance Grandison in the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Edelmiro Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Obscurials were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Falckner FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Spânu took the corner. The corner ended in Angelo Eiró almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Falckner FC's Aureliano Herena did a great save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. The Obscurials fully deserved thier win.
