In the 14th minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aron Suşu hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Dumitru Pantelimon threw the ball into play from the sideline. MAZER SAF's Jorginho Mello quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 19th minute, one of Academia Rio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Academia Rio. Aurelian Coporan had in the 21stth minute some difficulties stopping Laurgain Ruiz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Academia Rio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Sein was slow to take the kick. During this time MAZER SAF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MAZER SAF's corner Augusto Sein fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelian Coporan quite easily take care of the ball. Aurelian Coporan was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Laurgain Ruiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laurgain Ruiz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Aurelian Coporan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. A hard shot 36 in the game by Laurgain Ruiz from a close distance when the talented Aurelian Coporan managed to make a qualified save. Academia Rio's players were relieved. Laurgain Ruiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Coporan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The goal made the score 4-0. 46 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goalkeeper Aurelian Coporan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurgain Ruiz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergiu Coșeriu to make the kick off. MAZER SAF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelian Coporan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Rafa Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafa Alves in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Alves in the 88th minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Aurelian Coporan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelian Coporan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafa Alves's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Junior in the 90th minute of play. Aurelian Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Alves in the 92nd minute of the match.
