Ismael Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Måns Sandberg in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute of the match Norrlands Athen got a corner. MAZER SAF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filcho Slivkov ran over to the corner to take the kick. 16 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Sandberg came free, but Ismael Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgian De Arrascaeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Laurgain Ruiz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands. Safet Hands was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ismael Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Måns Sandberg went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 27thth minute of the game Laurgain Ruiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgian De Arrascaeta made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MAZER SAF's Alan Almeida. Ismael Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Lebron in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAZER SAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filcho Slivkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Norrlands Athen's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Filcho Slivkov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri did a great save. The throw-in from Alan Almeida in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Norrlands Athen's Giorgian De Arrascaeta. Evaristo Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Safet Hands read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Juan Lebron made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lebron, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Laurgain Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Safet Hands. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 64thth minute of the game Måns Sandberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Evaristo Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Safet Hands was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson was substituted for Måns Sandberg. MAZER SAF's Murillo Lima was substituted for Kang Wei Lin. MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Bergfelt in the 72nd minute of play. Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jorginho Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAZER SAF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Safet Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Alves to maneuver through the defense. MAZER SAF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
