Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelius Bjørgo in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to FC WAWER getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Witomir Nigbor hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Måns Sandberg in the 16th minute of play forced FC WAWER's goalkeeper 安柯 Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC WAWER's Witomir Nigbor got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Huang Fei Ting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huang Fei Ting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Cornelius Bjørgo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Safet Hands saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC WAWER's 安柯 Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 23rd minute of play. Juan Lebron hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Norrlands Athen's Safet Hands got control of the ball when Cornelius Bjørgo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Alvaro Pérez García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Måns Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Lebron to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alvaro Pérez García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, FC WAWER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Kon to maneuver through the defense. Måns Sandberg scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 安柯 Sar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
