Pasha Opara was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jakob Heinicke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lionel-Andrés Messi made a great header on S.E. Pindorama Eagles's corner, it was just that Independência Futebol's Jakob Heinicke managed to reach the ball for a save. Pindorama Eagles's Luis Vasquez made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakob Heinicke was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Luis Vasquez notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Independência Futebol's Jakob Heinicke. Jakob Heinicke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Luis Vasquez made a precise shot to the right of Jakob Heinicke. Independência Futebol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Luis Vasquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jakob Heinicke having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Independência Futebol's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vasquez came free, but Jakob Heinicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Independência Futebol defense, Luis Vasquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakob Heinicke. The Independência Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakob Heinicke should have stopped the shot. If Lionel-Andrés Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.E. Pindorama Eagles fully deserved thier win.
