In the 4th minute Fabricio Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bizi Quemada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, 25 de Abril Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco got control of the ball when Slawomir Turak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cachiyuyo EAS's Evaristo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cachiyuyo EAS from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Sixto Manilan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Evaristo Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slawomir Turak. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Slawomir Turak managed to get in a good position for a shot. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Turak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slawomir Turak made a kick off. If Fabricio Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Fabricio Rencio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bizi Quemada. The goal made the score 0-1. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Miguel Urtungo was substituted for Orlando Gamus. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Miguel Urtungo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eleuterio Joachim, made in the 69th minute of the game. Cachiyuyo EAS's Fabricio Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyo EAS's zone, Yao Ang Feng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Velasco came out of the goal and Yao Ang Feng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Fabricio Rencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Sena in the 78th minute of play forced 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalkeeper Bizi Quemada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, 25 de Abril Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Manilan to maneuver through the defense. Cachiyuyo EAS made a substitution. Edgard Polentzi replaced Dito Sena. If Yao Ang Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Yao Ang Feng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Polentzi got free with Bizi Quemada in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
