When Ivar Fernström came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Sportklubben fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Fernström couldn't finish the play. Ivar Fernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonas Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Bieito in the 28th minute. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Saturnino Bieito sent off a good shot on target. barcelono's Saturnino Bieito got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of barcelono booed when Sportklubben was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Vennerkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Luken made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Sportklubben got a freekick which was hit by Roy Wickander. 61 minutes into the match, Sportklubben's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Luken came free, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sportklubben booed when barcelono was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Strömqvist's late challenge caught a barcelono's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niklas Isaksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Eduino charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Eduino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Ulises Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
